BIOGRAPHY

Afolabi-Adewunmi Olusanya (known as SanyaAfolabi) is a seasoned technology and digital transformation leader with over two decades' experience delivering large-scale IT, HCM, and enterprise transformation programmes across public and private sector organisations.

He holds a M.Sc. degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology from the National Open University of Nigeria and the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria respectively, following an HND in Mathematics & Statistics from Yaba College of Technology. He is an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and has completed executive and leadership development programmes in South Africa, the United Kingdom, and Nigeria.

In 2002, he joined SystemSpecs Limited (now SystemSpecs Group), where he progressed to Principal Manager, Implementation. In this role, he provided strategic leadership for enterprise HCM, payroll, and payment platforms, overseeing complex, high-risk implementations and advising senior government and corporate stakeholders on digital transformation, compliance, and service improvement.

His delivery portfolio includes HCM transformation across 65 Ondo State Ministries, Departments and Agencies (60,000+ staff); HCM and payroll digitalisation for Ogun State 20 Local Government Education Authorities (20,000+ staff) delivering a significant wage-bill reduction; leadership of a federal IPPIS pilot covering 1.2 million employees; and pension payroll digitisation for 16,000 Plateau State retirees, improving data accuracy.

He is recognised for translating technology investment into measurable organisational outcomes and for providing effective oversight of complex transformation programmes at scale.
